Xplosions

Join our next Xplosion! it is for every tween and teen - those who are on fire for God, those who are curious, and those who have drifted away. We have seen God meet tweens and teens exactly where they are - and change them!

Is the Xplosion for your tweens and teens?

Do you feel like your teens have lost their passion for God? Maybe they seem distant, disconnected, or just going through the motions with their faith. The Heidelberg Xplosion can help change that.
This event is open to all teenagers, whether they love God, are curious about Him, or are looking for healing. It’s for teens who once felt passionate but have grown distant, those who stopped coming to youth, or anyone who feels far from God and isn’t sure how to come back.
​No matter if your teen is excited about their faith or feels their passion fading, this is a place where God can reignite their heart, renew their desire, and remind them who they are.
​If you lead a youth group, run a church program, or work with young people, consider bringing your teens to this event.

What is an Xplosion?

An Xplosion is a revival gathering where teenagers can experience God, His love, His healing, and His power to change lives. It’s a time for salvation, being filled with His presence, and letting the Holy Spirit move among young people.
​
We believe many teenagers are spiritually hungry, even if they don’t realize it yet. They need a moment, an encounter, that awakens something deep inside. This can transform their thinking, help them walk with God again, return to their youth group, and join a community passionate about Jesus.  We’ve seen teens leave these events truly changed. Their passion comes back, and those who felt lost find their way again.

This is what you can expect at an Xplosion:

Connect with each other:

We play fun games and have small group discussions.  These give teens a fun, safe place to meet new people, make friends, and see they’re not alone in their faith journey.

Connect with God:

There will be extended praise and worship, guided God Encounters where teens can hear God’s voice for themselves, prayer, communion, and a message from a teen preacher. Everything is focused on building a real, living relationship with Jesus.

Receive ministry:

Teens will have several chances to receive prophetic words, personal prayer, and experience God working deeply in their hearts. Many leave with a new hunger for God and a stronger desire to be part of a faith communit

Who runs an Xplosion?

Our Xplosions are hosted and led by a team of tweens, teens, and adults who have been trained for ministry at our Transformerz Fire School, which is our ministry school. They plan the event, help with set-up, and run the program. Each team member loves Jesus, walks with God, and feels called to work with youth.
We always invite adults, tweens, and teens from local churches to join our ministry team on the day of the Xplosion. We believe God blesses unity, and we enjoy working together with our wider family in Christ.

A word for those working with our tweens and teens 

We understand the struggle. You want to see teens walk with God, but often you see the opposite: disconnection, apathy, and drifting away. You’re looking for a way to reignite their faith.
​The Transformerz Xplosion is meant to be that spark. It’s an event you can bring your young people to, so they return to your organization, youth group, or church excited, filled with love, and ready to grow.
​We want to support your church and organization, not replace it. Bring your teens and trust God to do the rest.

Join the Transformerz Movement

We’d love for you and your teens to join our monthly hub gathering on Zoom. Transformerz from all over the Western Cape join us regularly. At our gatherings, we worship, learn about ourselves and who God is, share testimonies, and connect with like-minded tweens and teens. Everyone who joins our hubs is invited to our big event at the end of the year.
